Yes You Can… Submit to The Gum

You never know quite what you might find when you step in The Gum. From early beginnings as a little read publication of words printed with ink on the mashed remnants of former trees, to our current massively amazing global internet dominance, The Gum exists as a magazine where interesting articles, artwork, advertising and ideas can flourish in tandem.

Do You Have Something to Say?

We invite the readers of The Gum to submit articles, artwork or even regular columns to The Gum, turning them in to the writers of The Gum. We accept articles on pretty much any topic, with the following guidelines:

• Submissions should be in a completed format, and please use spellcheck.

• Your submission should be well considered and thought out, and should express a complete idea. We are not looking for status updates or tweets.

• We’re most interested in submissions that are creative and unique, and that would enlighten the readers in some way about the world. Articles can be topical but do not need to correspond to a pre-defined news cycle.

• Submissions must be your original material, and please avoid articles that react or respond to other online content, we are not looking for links to other online material.

• Please supply some visual material in the form of photos, illustrations or videos. If you are unable to provide any we will do our best to provide suitable artwork.

The Gum adds new posts regularly and will be introducing new writers and features to you soon. The more submissions we get, the more we update the site.
